How can I book?

You can book directly through our website or by emailing us at hello@umaonwerri.com. If Uma is unavailable on your chosen dates, contact us and we will add you to our waitlist, or check out our sister properties, Sundara Beach House in Gerringong and Mandala Beach House in Jervis Bay.

Is there a minimum nightly stay?

We have a two night minimum stay for most bookings, a three night minimum on long weekends and a seven night minimum in peak season. Weekend bookings must include both Friday and Saturday nights.

When is check in and check out?

Check in time at Uma on Werri is 3 PM and check out time is 10 AM.

Question 4

How many people can Uma sleep?

Accepted Answer

Uma on Werri sleeps 14 adults and 1 child. We can sleep an additional two children on fold away beds at an extra cost, for a total of 17 guests. Children using the fold away beds must be under 12 years old and infants under 2 years are welcome and not included in the guest count. The bedroom configuration is: master bedroom king, bedroom 2 king that can split into two singles, bedroom 3 king that can split into two singles, bedroom 4 king that can split into two singles, bedroom 5 king that can split into two singles, bedroom 6 king, and bedroom 7 with a king single bunk over a queen which can sleep two adults and one child. Uma is registered with the NSW Government as Property ID STRA 57106.

Can you recommend the best local eateries, supermarkets, private chefs or caterers for our stay?

Yes. Food lovers will enjoy the delicious fresh produce, cafes, restaurants and wineries within a short drive of Uma on Werri. Yes. What is your cancellation policy?

The deposit is fully refundable if written notice of cancellation is received by the owner more than 30 days prior to the arrival date. Where notification of cancellation is received less than 30 days in advance of the arrival date, no refund will be given and the full tariff will be forfeited. If we are able to rebook any of the nights subject to the cancelled booking, a refund will be given for those nights.

Are there any rules I should know before booking?

We ask guests to treat Uma on Werri as their own, but there are a few important house rules. The maximum number of guests must not exceed 14 adults, with an additional two children on fold away beds at an extra cost, and children on fold away beds must be under 12 years. Infants under 2 years are welcome and not included in the guest count. Under no circumstances are parties, functions or loud gatherings permitted at Uma, including hens, bucks and Schoolies celebrations. Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM to maintain a relaxing environment for our neighbours, and we ask guests to observe the no smoking inside requirement for the duration of their stay.

Uma on Werri is located in Gerringong on the NSW South Coast, directly opposite Werri Beach and about 10 minutes’ drive from Kiama.
